If they are not meant for citizens – ourselves – they are not cities.” - Aldo van Eyck Development of Jakarta especially the public space and the development of technology has a lot impact changing how kids nowadays playing. Many new games causing a lack of social and physical interactions, this also happen because lack of playground as a public space in Jakarta. This workshop will discuss every aspect about how important playground in the city, with the goal to make a design or redesigning new playground for kids. The focus will be how to make a playground that suitable with the progress of games nowadays.   Artists: Rene Hayashi [Artist - Mexico City] MG. Pringgotono [Artist - Jakarta] along with: Murki Aziz Fikri [Sanggar Anak 'Akar' - Jakarta] Every individual actually has the ability to take important roles influencing the growth and the shape of the city. Development of Jakarta, especially the public space, and the development of technology hold a big role in changing how kids play nowadays. These days, many new games cause lack of social and physical interactions.
